Goddess of the Moon

The artist sawed a piece of blue chacedony from Eskişehir, Turkey, which contained  inclusions of brown dolomite, suggesting to him hills, and a spherical "moon," probably amorphous silica. He constructed a setting of argentium sterling silver reminiscent of Roman "moon-goddess" pendants, and made soldered links connecting to a conventional sterling silver chain with conventional sterling clasp.
